通用信息 商标（Trademarks）将一个公司的产品与其他的产品区分开来。商标可以是单一的一个词（例如：Dolby）、词语的组合（例如：Pro Logic）、标语（例如：We’ve Got the Whole World Listening）、名称（例如：Dolby）、数字或数字与文字的混合（例如；杜比定向逻辑II）、符号（例如：  ）、声音（例如：杜比的和声的声音标志），或颜色、香味，或用以标识产品某种特性的图形。另外，商标是质量和信誉的标志。杜比商标被全世界公认代表着美妙的声音。服务标志（Service marks）将一个公司提供的服务与其他的服务区分开来。杜比已经把”Dolby”和双D标志“ ”与为影院、录音棚和广播商提供品质检验和咨询服务联系在一起超过35年了。 商标名称（Trade names）代表着业务范围。有时一个词可以是一个商品名，或也被用作服务标志来代表服务，或作为商标来标识产品。例如：杜比实验室将“Dolby”用在其公司名称中，用它代表技术或修理服务，用它标识专业产品的制造商，还将它用在消费类产品上作为认证的标志。商标名称与商标是不同的，而且不应该与之混淆。 正确：Dolby Laboratories manufactures professional audio, cinema, and broadcast products. 不正确：Dolby® Laboratories manufactures professional audio, cinema, and broadcast products. 若需正确使用商标和定义的示例，请参阅杜比商标和标志的使用。 返回页首  一些有关商标应用的规则 商标不应该被用作形容词，后跟一般名词 想找到遵守这条规则的一个很好的办法，就是把商标从句子中去掉，以确认其仍然是一句完整并附和语法的句子。 正确： Our cinema is equipped with a Dolby® processor. 不正确： Our cinema is equipped with a Dolby. 商标不能作为动词使用 正确： Add equipment with Dolby® Digital decoding to your home theater system by visiting our sales event. 不正确：Dolby Digitalize your home theater system by visiting our sales event. 商标不应被用作复数 正确： I bought two home theater components containing Dolby® technology yesterday. 不正确： I bought two Dolbys yesterday. 商标不应出现在所有格中 正确： The decoding capabilities of Dolby® Digital technology are well known. 不正确： Dolby Digital's decoding capabilities are well known. 商标不应被以任何形式改变或附加任何东西：没有连字号/短横、斜杠、前缀、后缀等 这样就将商标缩减成一个单一的词。 正确： Capable of Dolby® Digital decoding Incorporates Dolby and Acme technologies Prior to processing with Dolby® Noise Reduction 不正确： Dolby Digital-capable Incorporates Dolby/Acme technologies Pre-Dolby Noise Reduction processed 商标不可被缩略 正确： Dolby® Digital Surround EX?
